Goodbye Summertime!

 

Well here we are again.... the night before the first day of school! So exciting and nerve-wracking! :) So far we have 19 students on each roster and it would be a great number to stay at.... but I know that we will most likely enroll some tomorrow and new little friends will walk in during the day! :) Just wanted to put some picture of some of the things I made for the classroom this year! I am implementing a new behavior system this year and created the rules chart (we will sing the rules to the tune of "Twinke, Twinkle") and a huge behavior chart! I also recreated my calendar by magnetizing the entire thing and placing it on my white board! So excited for Rambus' Rockstars to get this year started!

"You need to journal..."

.... I heard this every week my first three years of teaching, and I never did it! I completely regret not keeping a journal to document the positive, negative and hilarious moments of my budding teaching career! So I decided that I would start a blog to be my journal... a way for me to document and share the funny little things kids say, the great ideas that work in the classroom and also to ask for help when I need someone else's perspective to solve a problem! I am so excited for the school year to start in two weeks (OMG where did summer go?) and to meet my new little ones! It's going to be a great year with my Rockstars! :)
